Minutes from Tauranga's city fringe, this 1.0762 ha (2.66 acres more or less) Welcome Bay retreat offers the freedom of space, privacy, and fresh air without giving up everyday convenience. This is lifestyle living at its best: peaceful, productive if you want it to be, and perfectly positioned for modern family life.
The main home is designed for comfort and connection, with high ceilings, sun-filled living spaces, and wide rural views that instantly slow the pace of life. Whether it's relaxed family mornings, hosting friends, or unwinding at the end of the day, the home delivers an easy, contemporary feel that works in every season.
A generously sized, self-contained minor dwelling adds flexibility—ideal for extended family, teenagers, guests, or additional income through Airbnb.
Step outside and enjoy the simplicity of space. There's room for kids to roam, animals to graze, and projects to grow, supported by a versatile three-bay shed for storage, hobbies, or future plans.
And then there's the bonus. A mature, organically grown avocado orchard and established citrus trees offer an optional income stream and help keep holding costs down, but there's no pressure here. You can be as hands-on or hands-off as you like, enjoying the benefits without sacrificing the lifestyle. Add fresh eggs from the coop and birdsong mornings, and you have country living done right.
No formal gardens. No unnecessary upkeep. Just space, flexibility, and the rare chance to enjoy a true lifestyle property minutes from cafes, schools, and Tauranga's urban conveniences.
This isn't about working the landit's about living well on it. Secure your Welcome Bay escape and enjoy the lifestyle now, with the orchard as the reward.
A Leader with a Passion for People and Real Estate
Neil’s career is deeply rooted in business with a strong emphasis on management as well as training and
development. Starting his journey as an international trainer, Neil went on to lead a company
specialising in sales and leadership training for corporate and publicly traded firms. He then
applied his extensive experience to the real estate industry, recognising that successful real
estate sales are not merely about transactions but also about building strong relationships.
Within a few years of acquiring a real estate franchise, Neil transformed it into a national
leader in New Zealand. This earned him the title of Franchise of the Year. He attributes this
achievement to his understanding of sales principles, his commitment to developing people,
and his belief that the real estate business is fundamentally about people.
Neil joined the Century 21 brand, because of its global reach and
local touch reputation in the real estate industry which made it the perfect fit for him.
Neil recently relocated to Tauranga with his wife and two children, drawn to the city’s idyllic
climate, friendly community and stunning natural surroundings. Having found his own piece
of paradise, he is passionate about helping others discover theirs.
